Pyara Kerketta Foundation is a non-Profiteering development institution committed to the promotion of human ability and comprehensive social development registered under Indian Trust Act (1882) on July 17, 2002. This foundation has been named to honour the great educationist, social reformer, political activist and pioneer in cultural movement- late Pyara Kerketta. The contribution of late Pyara Kerketta (June 3, 1903 – Dec 25, 1973) towards the educational, social and cultural development of Jharkhand is unparalleled.
